Legal Eagles Program Highlights
-
Legal Practice Experience
Program participants will work on real cases from inception to resolution. This will include intake and initial client consults, pre-litigation and litigation support, and final disposition of cases through mediation or trial. Participants will work on medical summaries and development of liability and damages theories for case preparation and development.
Furthermore, participants will work on client contracts, demand letters, petitions, discovery, and pre-trial and trial motions. Through this process, participants will gain practical experience which will help them when they go to law school.
-
Law School Application Process
Program participants will work on building a candidate profile to apply to law school. This includes, LSAT preparation courses, filling out applications, requesting letters of recommendation, resume building, and working on personal statements for law school applications.
This curriculum focuses on preparing aspiring law students for their legal education journey. The idea is to assist program participants through the application process, into law school and beyond.
-
Community Engagement & Involvement
Program participants will be encouraged to participate in community involvement events promoting the firm and helping the community.
Community involvement includes community events such as backpack giveaways, turkey giveaways, walks/runs, career days at local schools, and toy giveaways during the Christmas season.
-
Professional Development & Networking Opportunities
Program participants will be encouraged to assist networking opportunities and work with co-workers to develop into more marketable lawyers when they complete law school. This includes participating in depositions, mediations, and court hearings to get to know other lawyers and judges in the community.
Additionally, participants are encouraged to collaborate with other Zambrano Law Firm employees to enrich their experience working at the firm and develop their professional skills. Working with other legal professionals will help participants develop their knowledge of the law and legal process in order to become successful attorneys in the future.
